When one works for themselves, you look to those who came before you. There are lots of artists that offer us inspiration. The ones who succeed, we take what they have learned and try to apply those lessons to what we are doing. The ones who aren’t, well, we take that experience and tuck it away to remember and also remember a good idea, poorly done, is just as bad. There is so much to juggle.
