Are you bothered?

When one works for themselves, you look to those who came before you. There are lots of artists that offer us inspiration. The ones who succeed, we take what they have learned and try to apply those lessons to what we are doing. The ones who aren’t, well, we take that experience and tuck it away to remember and also remember a good idea, poorly done, is just as bad. There is so much to juggle. The Holiday Art Fair at Reid Park was a success! We met lots of cool people and had a gas! There were tons of local artists (shout-out to Jeff Rutherford at J. Olive Design. Finally rolling…

After a roller coaster ride that has been the last several months, I forced myself to sit the hell down and upload some shiny needful things to my website. It’s interesting to go back through art that you’ve made. Especially if some time has passed since the last time you looked at it. I don’t know about you but I find that most of the time, I feel the need to take a piece apart in order to make it better.
